Most people understand that advertising is used to help sell products and services.rnThrough successful advertising, it is possible that a company can increase its revenuernand possibly become a larger company. Advertising agencies are businesses in thernservice industry which control every aspect of an advertising campaign. Advertisingrnagencies that operate in Indonesia may or may not feel the impact of changingrneconomic conditions. Theoretically, the advertising industry will be affected byrnchanging economic conditions since these conditions affect the performance of thernentire country. However, some said that the advertising industry will not be affectedrnby the changing economic conditions because nowadays there are a lot of newrnbusinesses and opportunities that come into sight. The main purpose behind thisrnresearch paper is to determine whether the revenue and performance of advertisingrnagencies has any correlation towards Indonesia?s selected economic indicators, whichrnin this thesis will be focused on GDP, inflation, interest rates per Bank Indonesia andrnthe exchange rates of Rupiah against US Dollar.
