Study on bioactive constituents from indigenous colored fruits as source of antioxidant agent in relation with ascorbic acid
Experiments were developed to evaluate the value of antioxidant activity and phenolic content of fruits through DPPH Assay, DPPH Assay + KMnO4, and Total Phenolic Assay. Assessments were conducted for the comparison of antioxidant activity between fruit samples on DPPH Assay and DPPH Assay + KMnO4 and comparisons of phenolic content with the standard (gallic acid) to determine which sample that have a better antioxidant activity and better for human health.
