Designing and developing scada system for operational and maintenance of amusement rides
The purpose of this thesis is to design and develop supervisoryrncommunication and data analysis (SCADA) system for operational andrnmaintenance amusement rides. By designing and developing this system, it isrnpossible to learn a lot of things from mechanical, electrical and programmingrnaspects. This thesis can also be used as a model to study serialrncommunication that is commonly applied in industrial field. This thesis begunrnwith understanding the systematic of amusement rides which already madernby thesis previous student. Next progress is identifying the parameters of thernamusement park rides which going to use for its operational and maintenancerntasks. All data transferred from microcontroller to main computer by usingrnwireless modules. Finally, the whole system is integrated and tested tornevaluate its performance and proved that this SCADA system is workingrnproperly for operational and maintenance of amusement park rides.
