Organizing distribution station in flexibe manufacturing system for further research and development
The thesis project is aimed to organize Distribution station in an existingrnFESTO didactic Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) 102 which is availablernin Swiss German University automation laboratory and develop a new controlrnconfiguration for further research and development. A Human MachinernInterface (HMI) is constructed in a computer using Festo Software Toolsrn(FST) as ?Master? and an IPC Festo driver integrated to the distribution stationrnon the FESTO didactic FMS as ?Slave?. Process Field Bus Fieldbus MessagernSpecification (PROFIBUS FMS) is used as a communication protocol. Therncommunication will be configured to the Testing station. As a result, thernDistribution station is able to be operated as it is assigned to. Furthermore,rncommunication can be established from Distribution station to Testing station.
