Designing and analyzing control system for 100 kw binary cycle geothermal power plant

This thesis is made to design and analyze a control system that will be able to makernan automated 100kW binary cycle geothermal power plant model. It is a part of anrnautomations system of binary cycle geothermal power plant that consists of threernmain loops. The whole system consists of brine circulation, N-Butane circulation andrncooling circulation. The control system purpose is to synchronize all of the sensors,rnactuators, and PC (HMI) so the system can be operated as it is desired usingrnProgrammable Logic Controller (PLC). Therefore to produce the electricity, thernsystem must able to synchronize the circulation between brine, N-Butane, andrncooling. There are three types of sensors is used in this system. Those arerntemperature sensor, pressure sensor, and flow rate sensor. Furthermore, to makernthe flow of brine, steam, and N-Butane work properly, the parameters within thernloops have to be considered well. The proposed control system has been verifiedrnusing signal simulator.
