Design and construction of a monitoring system for a water treatment plant model from disposed water into clean water
Water treatment process is a sequence of sub processes to convert disposed water (Surface Water) into clean water. The objective of this thesis project is to design and construct visible water treatment model for educational purpose focusing on the monitoring process parameters affecting the quality water produced. To achieve the objectives, the literature of the required system has been studied, and a survey to the real water treatment process has been conducted. Based on theoretical and field studies, the main task is to model the processes, followed by design and construction of the working model itself. To achieve the objective of monitoring the process parameters, some sensors and actuators are added into the constructed water treatment models. pH and Turbidity are two parameters of interest among other parameters.
