Designing and constructing hybrid 2 axis solar tracker and wind powered street light

Nowadays people worldwide tend to adopt the idea of using green and renewable energy. Two common examples of green energy would be the ones produced by photovoltaic cells and wind turbines. As the wind does not blow all the time nor does the sun shine all the time, solar and wind power alone are poor power sources. Hybridizing solar and wind power sources together with storage batteries to cover the periods of time without sun or wind provides a realistic form of power generation. The efficiency of photovoltaic itself can be improved by adding solar tracking system. The energy stored in the battery then can be used for wide applications; one of them is for lighting. LED module is more preferable for lighting device due to it low power consuming characteristic. Therefore, the electricity cost for lighting could be minimized.
