Designing and construction a model of plastic milk spoon feeding device
The primary purpose of this thesis is to build a model of plastic milk spoon feeding device based on mechatronics engineering principle. The device would help milk manufacturer in process production more accurate and faster than before. The plastic milk spoon feeding device basically has three sub-systems; loader sub system, orientation sub-system and plastic milk spoon delivering sub-system. Starting from the loader sub-system, the plastic milk spoon is picked up from a bulk with elevator conveyor. Then, the plastic milk spoon would be oriented at the oriented conveyor. The last process is delivering the plastic milk spoon one by one into the milk powder package. The loader sub-system and orientation sub-system use DC motor to drive the conveyor continuously. Stepper motor is used in plastic milk spoon delivering sub-system. Four infrared sensors and one diffuse sensor are used to recognize position of the plastic milk spoon by sending a signal. All sensor signals would be an input signal for S7-300, the controller. Then the programmed controller would send output signal for actuator. Process of the feeding device can be seen from laptop screen and the operator can also control the feeding device directly.
