Re-designing and analyzing torque measurement system with inertia or braking load effect for motorcycle engine
This thesis is intended to develop a model of device to measure torque characteristic of a motorcycle gasoline engine. The idea is to apply a load or resistance when the engine running, to resist the engine rotation and analyze how the engine performedrnunder load condition. It uses a load device such as mechanical breaking device. Increasing the breaking force against the engine rotation increases the load on the engine. The force exerted on the breaking device is resisted by a strain measuringrndevice (Load cell).
