Designing and constructing an fpga-based sound recognition security system
The purpose of this thesis is to design a sound recognition security system. Thisrnsystem will only unlock upon recognizing a voice password spoken by the passwordrnholder. In order to do sound recognition, the system must collect several samples ofrnthe sound and then their frequency contents are averaged to get the sound?s referencernfingerprint. After collecting the sound samples, recognition of any sound input can berndone anytime. It is done by calculating the Euclidean Distance between the soundrninpur and the sound?s reference fingerprint.
