Supply chain network modelling and simulation to analyze steel distribution in Indonesia
The purpose of this thesis is to find the best route possible for distributing steel in Indonesia. The problem is to find out if the steel distribution model has the best route possible to deliver the steel and if not an optimization will be made for the model. Methodology used for this thesis are network modeling and specifically maximal flow model and shortest route problem model and simulation is the next methodology used for this thesis. The result is to find the best route possible and the discussion can be made about the optimizations that have been done on the model. In conclusion the best route for the steel distribution line will be presented and a new model will be shown.
