Analyzing the franchising business: the case study of multiplus business service center
In this study, the researcher would like to analyze the franchise business atrnMultiplus Business Service Center. The purpose of the research is torndetermine the factors influencing a franchise went bankrupt, in this caserndiscusses the Multiplus. Research methods applied in this study are qualitativernand quantitative analysis. The primary data is obtained by distributingrnquestionnaires and conducted interviews to the employee of MultiplusrnBusiness Center. The secondary data is obtained by articles, books, andrninternet and other supporting media. The target sample for the research is 70rnrespondents. The data collection will be analyzed by using descriptivernanalysis, and regression analysis, facilitated by SPSS 13. The conclusion ofrnthis thesis is customers are still hesitant to return to the Multiplus. This meansrnthat if the marketing mix given Multiplus performance unsatisfactory. Basedrnon Interview, Multiplus often lose because every month to pay obligatoryrnexpenses such as operational and administrative costs an average of 25 millrnRupiah.
