Alcoholic beverages theft in the bar and restaurant industry - study in Kemang area, South Jakarta
Theft is a continuing concem in the bar andrestaurant industry. Most of this concern comes from the fact that many bars and restaurants have failed, and will continue tornfail, due to the fact that theft occur in these places. The purpose of this study was to examine alcoholic beverage theft incidents by bartenders and servers as they are related to the type of dispensing system and to determine if the deviance, in the form of alcoholic beverage theft, is an expression of employee dissatisfaction. In conclusion, as the finding stated, theft occurred because the unavailability of specific type of dispensing system and theft was also form of how employee expressed their dissatisfaction.
