Prioritizing customer preferences in development of music performer

Music as art performance is a service industry. Music performance may be assumed as customer oriented product to maximize the market. From the literature review, found that a research that contains set of criteria based on customer preference of music performance does not yet exist. Base on this insight, this thesis project prioritizes and develop a model of customer preference of new music performer. A survey is conducted to capture market preference of a musician. Questionnaires are distributed randomly to respondents in Jakarta & its surrounding region. This study will come up as the prioritized criteria of customer preference. Correlation between preferred criteria and the reason why customers like their favorite musician is also analyzed. This study is useful for musician to discover the potential market based on their music, style, song theme, and other variables.
