Automated navigation log system for flight planning in flying school
In airlines industry, before a plane is flying, pilots must have a navigation log for the related flight. It consist the plan for that flight and records all data during that flight. For example, an aircraft will fly from point A to point D via point B and C, in the navigation log will show direction A to B, B to C, C to D with all required information (heading, speed, wind). In an airline a particular person called the Flight Operation Officer (FOO) is assigned to build such navigation log, however in a flying school the students are asked to create this log. Even more, some flying schools are still using manual ways (papers and pencils) to create this navigation log for a flight planning. Consequently longer time and extra works are needed to be done to create this navigation log.
