Cloud development environment to assist programming skill measurement
The primary purpose of this thesis is to solve problems on conducting programming quizzes in Swiss German University. The differences between students' development environments with the lecturers' result in possible compile or runtime issues and the currently used methods for collecting student works result in the difficulty of organizing and grading the works. The proposed system tries to solve the issues by using cloud computing technology, giving a centralized and uniform development environment without compromising user experience. The major programming languages that used to develop the system are Java, PHP, and Javascript. The system has been tested on actual programming quiz and ready to be used by lecturers.
