Telehomecare: patient's data gathering with labview in Jakarta

Telehomecare is a method in health management system that is applied for ambulatory care where patient can get doctor's supervision from home. By implementing telehomecare system in Jakarta, it is expected that the communication between doctor and patient can be more convenient and also more data that can be obtained. In this thesis work, the telehomecare system will be established using LabVIEW software, MySQL database, and internet connection. The method consists of TCP/IP connection, LabVIEW implementation, database connection, email transmission, and blowfish encryption. The result from this thesis work is the simulated telehomecare system adapted to HIPAA already can send blood glucose, temperature, blood pressure data and image data using TCP/IP connection between patient and hospital. One database of patient's medical record, email system from LabVIEW implementation, and LabVIEW user interfaces also has been resulted.
