Revitalizing semarang cityΓÇÖs landmark: study case lawang sewu
Heritage, Culture and Tourism could not be separated; they support each other, however the massive effort on the Tourism side could damage the heritage itself. Lawang Sewu as a heritage area, is one of several inheritance from the past; Dutch Colonial era in Semarang. Heritage shows the identity from a city, and even from the country. This research is a descriptive study. The methods to be used are qualitative data supported with quantitative data using observation, interview, and questionnaire as research techniques. Source of data are primary and secondary. This research shows; Indonesians knowledge towards Lawang Sewu are still low The current revitalization did by the PT. KAI did not give very significant impact toward the interest of the visitor that came to the Lawang Sewu
