Analysis the effectiveness of e-learning system for pilot in PT. Garuda Indonesia

PT. GARUDA INDONESIA is the first and the largest airlines company in Indonesia, serving more than 50 domestic and international destinations. In this company, intelligence for all employees is essential, ultimately to pilots. They should always be informed with the latest information and updated learning materials to improve their performance and achieve great exam scores. The issues of learning in this company is limited in term of accessibility, when pilots are away or on duty in overseas country and are required to learn the training materials. Therefore, this company creates an e-learning system to facilitate all employees especially pilots to do a distant learning. Another main problem is that not all employees have easy access to the e-learning system. Hence, effectiveness of e-learning system is poorly understood. In order to overcome these problems, there should be an analysis in distribution of learning materials processed to be e-learning materials and figure out the difficulties of accessing the e-learning material. The goal of this research is to understand the size of effectiveness of e-learning system for pilot at PT Garuda Indonesia. Research methodology includes data collection and data analysis. Data collection methods include a literature review, interviews with stakeholders and direct observation.
