Correlation between sustainable growth rates and financial performance in publicly listed retail industry in Indonesia
The focus of this thesis is to find the correlation between sustainable growth rate and financial performances which identifies three main categories; profitability, solvency, and liquidity. The companies used as sample of this research are from the retail industry which are publicly listed and actively traded in Jakarta Stock Exchange within the time period from 2007 until 2011. Quantitative approaches are conducted in this research to show the detail particle of financial condition from time to time which reflects the periodic sustainable growth. The result shows that there are correlations between sustainable growth rate and financial performance indicators. Thus, it can be interpreted that the high level of sustainable growth rates has significant influences towards the financial performances which may represents the existence of favorable financial circumstances.
