Impact of talent retention program to talent retention; case study: Mitra Adiperkasa TBK. Indonesia

Working in retail industry, employees tend to leave the workplace because lack of future development (Kyndt et al, 2009). A way to reduce the employee turnover rate or to maintain employees in that particular host organization (or we called, employee retention) is to provide training and a talent retention program for the employees. A successful talent retention program is when company can identify and develop high potential talents that have important roles in a company The Theory of Organizational Equilibrium (Allen, 2008), talents will stay with the workplace as long as the inducement it offers are equal or even greater than contribution from the talents. The abstract may consist of one or more pages. The purpose of this thesis is to measure the effectiveness of using Talent Retention Program in order to enhance Talent Retention and to identify the program that enhance Talent Retention significantly. Talent Retention Program (independent variable) has significant impact on Talent Retention (dependent variable). The sample is taken from workers in MAP office. Type of data analysis that being used is quantitative approach. In MAP, there is a significant correlation between Talent Retention Program and Talent Retention and MAP offers many Talent Retention Programs to retain its talents.
