The base of creative industries lies in human ideas. Human ideas in the form of international patents, copyrights, trademarks, royalties and designs, contribute towards the development of the national economy. In order to increase contribution of creative industries towards economic growth, nations including Indonesia try to seek better ways to improve the quality and quantity of creative human resources (Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif Republik Indonesia, 2012). This research aims to analyze a creative person and its indicators (motivation, communication, competence, and passion) as a developing factor of the creative industry contribution in order to support economic development in Indonesia. This research is quantitative with 100 respondents from the three selective regions in Banten province. The result shows that communication has a significant influence towards creative development.
