The analysis of leadership style affected employee's job performance in the working place
Employee is the most important part to run a company. Employee should provide and give a good service and memorable experience to the consumers. A great employee?s job performance will come out from a great leader There are many great definition about Leadership, for example; Roach & Behling ?Leadership is the process of influencing an organized group toward accomplishing its goals? (Richard L. Hughes, 2011, pg 6). Every leader has their leadership style. Leadership style also defines as leader?s behaviour. This study tries to analyze is there any affect from leadership style toward employee?s job performance in the work place and focusing only on 1 (one) of 5 star hotel in Jakarta. Thus, the methodology used quantitative approach with 39 respondents from 1 hotel. As the statistical result it is shows that leadership style affected employee?s job performance at 62.3%. Considering the level of influence, leadership style can certainly generate value in terms of affected employee?s job performance in the X hotel. Trough the statistical result, it shows that leaders have capability to be a role model to employees and they are capable torndeliver the meaning of leader.rnKeywords: job performance, Leadership Style.
