The Importance of social media marketing and its effectiveness on hotel customer in Jakarta
We are living in the era of technology. Social media is the future of marketing. For sure it is not just some trend that soon will be replaced by a new trend around the corner.. Consumer can now be reached on a deeper level. With the help of this new media it is possible to get their trust. More and more businesses are now jumping onrnthe wagon and realize that this new marketing tool has many advantages. Businessesrnsee it more and more as a marketing platform and is part of many marketing departments already. This study discusses how customers see social media marketing and identify if it is important to have it as a permanent marketing tool. Different strategies will be evaluated to see which is the most effective way to conduct a social media marketing plan and hotels can see if consumer behavior, perception of social media and brand loyalty is approached correctly in their marketing plan.This research uses the descriptive approach. Data will be obtained by primary research which will be conducted by questionnaire and secondary research journals and web sites are used to gather data.rnThe results of the study show that Brand Loyalty has a correlation of 91% with social media marketing. Brand loyalty has a correlation of 86% with perception of social media and brand loyalty has 72% correlation with consumer behavior.
