Self motivation for achievement and its relationship on job perfomance and job satisfaction. A case study of room division in Mandarin Oriental Jakarta
Self motivation for achievement is one of the motivation variable that generally assume to have an influence in job performance and job satisfaction of the employees. Job performance is the level of employees' ability in executing a task. High and low performance of employees can be notice by their work outcome. Job satisfaction is one of the important factors which believe to be the impact of self motivation for achievement. It reflects the employees' feeling toward job performance and environment in the hotel. The problem that will be discuss further in this research is to identify the relationship between self motivation for achievement to both job performance and job satisfaction of Room Division in Mandarin Oriental Jakarta.rnThis thesis is only focus on Room Division of Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. The methodology used was quantitative method with total 54 respondents and Pearson Correlation also used for the data analysis. The result found that self motivation for achievement has a positive relationship with both job performance and job satisfaction in Room Division of Mandarin Oriental Jakarta. So, the hotel management may focus on self motivation for achievement to improve job performance and job satisfaction of the employees.
