Analyszing the Effect of Macroeconomic Variables and Commodity Metals Price towards the Organizational Performance: a Case Study of Sumatera and Singgalang Gold Shops
This research investigates the effect of macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price towards the organizational performance, in this case is the performance of Sumatera and Singgalang gold shops. the measurement used in this case is the relationship between macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price. Furthermore, macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price are calculated from monthly financial data of Sumatera and Singgalang gold shops. the sampling criteria process begins with searching the accurate financial information of the gold shops listed from time period 2005-2013. It can be concluded that total population of these two organizations listed within time period 2005-2013 was 204 data. in order to investigate how macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price affects the organizational performance in 2005-2013, this study used three types of data analysis, which are (1) Descriptive statistics, (2) Normality Test and Multivariate Outliers (3) Structural Equation Modeling with AMOS. the result shows that there is a significant relationship between macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price; there is no significant effect between macroeconomic variables and commodity metals price towards organizational performance.
