The Impact of Indonesian Food Presentation towards Customer Satisfaction: a Case Study of Remboelan Restaurant
The strategy geographic of Indonesia with approximately 6000 populated islands and the history of trade, makes Indonesian food varies greatly.Indonesian food is affected by some cultures such as Melayu, China, Middle East, India, and Europe. the cultures are influencing in Indonesian technique cooking, ingredients, and food presentation. Because of many foreign influences and diversity culture, it makes Indonesian food has no standard in food presentation. the main purpose of selecting this thesis title is to identify factors of Indonesian food presentation that influence customer satisfaction. Thus this thesis will determine the importance of food presentation from customers point of view. Afterwards is to improve customers satisfaction and the result will be useful for Food and Beverage industry. the research methodology that will be used in this particular research is quantitative, which will use questionnaire with convenience sampling procedure.The result shows that there is a positive relationship between food presentation and customer satisfaction. Food presentation is influencing customer satisfaction at 55%. It can be concluded that Indonesian food presentation gives a good impact to customer satisfaction especially customer satisfaction in Remboelan Restaurant Plaza Senayan.
