Implementation of Energy Audit in Optimizing Hvac System at PT. Soho Industri Pharmasi
Energy Audit program is a method applied to evaluate energy consumption of a building. This method has been widely applied among industries as recommendation on energy saving is obtained at the end. a general audit program consists of three main parts which are preliminary research, site visits and post site work of energy audit. the one who will implement this program is guaranteed of achieving efficiency of energy usage.The energy audit is mainly conducted to different sectors in industry and shall be well prepared before starting such project. in most industries, Heat, Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system is the one that consumes a lot of energy in the range of 50 to 60 % out of total. Therefore, this program mainly focuses on auditing the HVAC system starting from observing real field of the system, understanding actual problems and finding solution to solve the problems. By doing these approaches, the program is considered to be running properly.Energy saving recommendation as results of the program consists of three main points including adjustment, addition and replacement recommendations. All the recommendation shall be created based on actual problems observed during on site visits. Management of company will further consider those recommendations to be further implemented necessarily.
