Analysing and designing systems on SGU automatic guided vehicle robot
The main purpose of this thesis is to improve the existence SGU Automated Guided Vehicle so it might be used for industrial purposes. Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a mobile robot for industrial application to move materials around a manufacturing facility or warehouse. The SGU AGV is using personal computer (PC) for process all data that are taken from the data acquisition. Data acquisition module was used to acquire data and send data from sensors to PC or from PC to DC motor driver. The sensors are Infrared distance sensor and optical encoder. The AGV will be controlled by user fromrnAGV PC using a joystick or a keyboard. The data will be transmitted from AGV PC to the Laptop or the other PC by wireless connection using wireless LAN (Wi-Fi).
