Analysis of corporate business travel policy and procedures to improve productivity and traveller's satisfaction (a case study at PT. Holcim Indonesia TBK.)

The main purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of corporate business travel policy and procedures to satisfy the corporate travellers and to improve employees?çö productivity at pt. Holcim indonesia, tbk. The first stage is to identify factors that influence the effectiveness of corporate business travel policy and procedures and which factors influencing significantly. The second stage is to identify which factors that more significant influenced corporate business travel and procedures and the third stage is to identify the gap between employees?çö perception and expectation. The primary data is obtained through the questionnaires from 203 employees and analyzes the reliability by using structural equation modelling (sem) and the difference by using gap analysis. The results show that characteristics of policy and procedures have high influences and positive correlations to the corporate business travel policy and procedures, where communication is the highest positive correlation of the policy and procedures characteristics. Traveller?çös satisfaction and employee?çös productivity have positive correlation with the corporate business travel policy and procedures. The elements which influence the corporate business travel policy and procedures significantly are communication and top management commitment. Improvement on the existing corporate business travel policy and procedures are still needed to reduce the gap between employees?çö perception and expectation in order to increase effectiveness of the corporate business travel policy and procedures.
