Web Based Selling System for Computer Shop
The Computer shop business competition is very tough at this moment. Many shops offer the computer and devices at a very competitive price with a low margin.nnDokter Komputer, a computer shop in Central Jakarta, realizes that they need an innovative marketing strategy to stay in the tough competition. Using web based selling system as the integrated and efficient tool, Dokter Komputer can run its mission to stay ahead at the tough competition among computer shops through prices, product quality and good services. The purpose of this research paper are to increase number of customers, and increase the revenue of Dokter Komputer. The strategy is using web based selling system which is supported by database.nnThere are some methodologies in this research : conduct survey, plan web based selling system, design database as back end system, design front end system, build e-commerce website system by designing the interface application, integrating the back end and front end system, trial by team, trial by several clients, and launching the system to all clients.nnIn addition, Dokter Komputer also wants to use web based selling system to reach wider areas in order to increase number of customers and increase the revenue.
