Analysis and Design of A Human Resource Information System: A Case Study of Orange HR Solution Implementation at PT. XYZ
The thesis research is to build a design a Human Resource Information System for PT. XYZ with a purpose of helping HR Department to increase efficiency in human resource operations, get better management control, and enable the sharing of reliable information. The case study of this thesis is done at PT. XYZ, a manufacturing company with 1850 employees, HR Department of PT. XYZ record their employee's data manually. nnThe methodology used in this thesis are as follows : user requirement and interview to get essential points daily activities in maintaining employees records, business process design, build database design, implementation of Human Resource database, calculate the cost of implementing Human Resource database in PT. XYZ and savings can be achieved after the implementation. Qualitative analysis also will be done to analyze intangible benefits of implementing Human Resource database.nnnThe implementation of Human Resource database may not give direct effect on company's profit, but it can give intangible benefits to PT. XYZ, such as better control on employees, disciplinary, improve fairness and transparency in the company, more accurate and faster decision making, and the most important can help improving employee's satisfaction. The implementation can also give cost saving of IDR 96,000,000 per year from hiring HR admin staff. It is recommended to PT XYZ to implement Human Resource database.
