In today's dynamic business environment, successful organizations must be able to react rapidly to the changing market demands. To do this requires an understanding of all of the factors that have an influence on the business. This can capture for all necessary data and this in turn requires an ability to monitor these factors and provide the relevant and timely information to the appropriate decision makers.nnHowever existing system lack of accuracy, revenue assurance processes need to cover this cycle from first-to-end. Connecting pieces of available information leads to the knowledge that can be used to support decisions.nnData mining provides the tools and techniques to help in discovering new contexts and hence new things about customers. Mining the business will enable decision maker to understand and changing business environment based upon real knowledge instead of just gut feeling.nnThis thesis gives a concept and an application of Data Mining in telecom industry particularly data for supporting revenue assurance analysis.
