Green manufacturing as quality factor in companies - analyzing the needs of a medium sized enterprise to adjust the production towards environmental friendly market requirements and analyzing the knowledge of the workforce regarding this topic
Within the last years environmental friendly production has become more and more a quality factor. The sports brand adidas-group announced a roadmap with the target to reach a certain environmental friendly standard until 2015 for all suppliers worldwide. This thesis will analyze the awareness regarding environmental related topics within the company pt. Framas indonesia, a supplier for adidas-group, located in the eastern part of jabodetabek, indonesia. A detailed questionnaire with 841 respondents is done to analyze the awareness of the indonesian employees regarding the environmental related topics energy, water, fuel and waste. Based on the result recommendations are given to pt. Framas indonesia to increase the ecological awareness and to fulfill customers?çö requirements within the given time.
