Financial and economic benefits from the implementation of quality management system: a case study of PT TUV International Indonesia customers
Standard of Quality Management System ISO 9001:2008 (4th edition) has beennreleased on 15 November 2008 replacing the previous ISO 9001:2000 (3rd edition),nthe demand of ISO 9001 certifications still grow as shown by the ISO Survey and asnshown in PT TUV International Indonesia?s list of customers. The demand?s growthnshows that organizations need to get the benefits from the implementation of ISOn9001 which doesn?t limit only to customer satisfaction, but with effectivenimplementation and clear objectives will enable the organizations to obtain thenfinancial and economic benefits. This thesis is developed to research the ISO 9001ncertified companies from PT TUV International Indonesia that financial andneconomical benefits are exist, directly or indirectly. Parameters of revenue, cash flow,nquality costs, profitability, customer preference, efficiency, employee motivation andnproductivity are observed among the other parameters to explore the financial andneconomic benefits. Questionnaire and interview are performed to get the researchndata. Data Analysis uses MS-Excel, SPSS and AMOS. The conclusion of this thesisnshould be quality management system ISO 9001 could provide the financial andneconomical benefit to the company.
