Strategy To Optimize The Direct Client Division In A General Insurance Company To Improve Revenue And Profitability: A Case Study In PT Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia
The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the strategy to improve the revenue and profitability in the Direct Client Division in PT. Asuransi Allianz Utama Indonesia. This study is also to determine which line of business gives the biggest role for the Direct Client Division in order to contribute to Allianz Utama Indonesia's overall production result. nThe study is significance for the reasons of focusing on the performance of Direct Client Division in terms of gross written premium and number of policy. In order to analyze the result, this study uses the production data of Direct Client Division and Allianz Utama Indonesia from 2006 to 2008. nThe result of the study indicates that the company needs a suitable strategy in order to improve the performance of the Direct Client Division. Especially since the industry in Indonesia is also experiencing the economic crisis, the respective unit has to focus on strategy that maintaining existing clients, and also concentrate to the products that have a high demand on customers.
