The purpose of this thesis is to design a bottle sorting machine with an implementation of barcode scanning system to sort the bottle based on its identity on their barcode. The sorting machine will receive bottle input through the inlet hole and then transferred by a linear conveyor to a scanning station. rnrnThis thesis project is focusing on designing and constructing the bottle sorting machine and controlling an omni-directional barcode scanner using Arduino microcontroller and USB host shield."
