Chandra, Inez Karina - Personal Name; Saroso, Pudyotomo A. - Personal Name;

Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) is a guideline implemented in Australia to control excessive alcohol consumption which aimed to prevent any negative effects. Other countries which also had some regulations or guidelines regarding these issues are USA with Dram Shop Law, and United Kingdom with Drinkaware. On the other side, Indonesia still has no guidelines or regulations to control excessive alcohol consumption while the consumers of the alcoholic beverages is increasing as the development of new bars and lounge are expanding. The sample of population in Jakarta will be taken from South Jakarta residence and only for those who consume alcoholic beverages. From all the data collected, it shows that both sides, consumers and servers, knew what the negative effects of consuming excessive alcoholic beverages are. However, they keep consuming and serving alcohol excessively and irresponsible. Therefore, guidelines to control this situation are needed to be made by government as the regulation or legislation.
