Job Satisfaction and Organizational Citizenship Behavior: a Case Study at Galeri Ciumbuleuit Hotel & Apartment, Bandung

Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) is a type of behavior that is also known as extra role behaveior, doing beyond what is expected by the organization and job descriptions. It was found that a high job satisfaction among employees will lead to OCB that benefiting the organization. This research aimed to determine or display the significant relationship between dimensions of job satisfaction (intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction) and OCB in hotel industry. It focuses on case study of Galeri Ciumbuleuit Hotel & Apartment, Bandung. This research was a quantitative research, where the data was collected through questionnaire from 100 respondents, which were the employees of Galeri Ciumbuleuit Hotel & Apartment, Bandung, and also from journals, books, and others, with Census as the sampling technique. Multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the data. the research result showed that extrinsic job satisfaction has a significant relationship with OCB by 60.0%, while intrinsic job satisfaction was found insignificant with OCB with a percentage of 9.4%. Based on the result, the hotel should keep maintaining or enhancing the external factors of job Livia Christie satisfaction in order to obtain a positive behavior among their employees, which is OCB.
