Analysis of Visitor Motivation towards Attending Exhibition Case Study: Celebes Interfood
Exhibitions is a type of Business Event where people can get information, establish business networking and buy a products or service during exhibition. Company realize that exhibition can be used as marketing tool to achieve their goals .This study identifies the major motivations of visitors for attending exhibition, especially in hospitality industry. This study will focus on the Celebes Interfood exhibition which was held in Makassar. the research method used a quantitative method, supported with primary data from the questionnaire using multiple rating list scale that was collected from 100 respondents from the visitors of the exhibition, and secondary data from journal, books, and other sources. the findings suggest that visitors who attend hospitality exhibitions are motivated by: tourism Theme, followed by network and information and the last motivation is purchase.
